Schedule: Onsite 5 days per week

Type: Contract to Hire

Hourly Rate: $25-$32/hour

We are seeking a motivated IT Support Specialist to provide first-level technical support for end users across a global organization. This role is ideal for an early-career IT professional who enjoys troubleshooting hardware, software, and Microsoft 365 issues while delivering exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will support user onboarding and offboarding, device deployment and management through Microsoft Intune, and day-to-day IT operations, helping ensure employees remain productive and connected. This position offers excellent opportunities to develop technical skills, gain exposure to enterprise technologies, and grow within a collaborative IT environment.

Responsibilities

  • Capable of examining multiple issues to identify which ones are priority and manage resolutions to completion, escalating those that are above their knowledge.
  • Willingness to learn new skills from senior/other Administrators to further their career.
  • Follow department working instructions from manager.
  • Follow daily work activities defined by manager.
  • Timely participation in meetings

Essential Functions

  • Proficient with Windows 10, Office 2019, Office 365.
  • Experience with laptop troubleshooting and maintenance/repair of replaceable parts (hard drive, memory, etc.)
  • Understanding of the workings of an IP network and troubleshooting those issues up to but not including the network switches.
  • Familiar with virtual machines and how to administer/manage them.
  • Good verbal and written skills. Ability to describe a technical issue in layman's terms.

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Proficient with Windows 10, Office 2019, Office 365
  • High School Diploma or Four-year degree in IT related field
  • Experience with laptop troubleshooting and maintenance/repair of replaceable parts (hard drive, memory, etc.)
  • Familiar with virtual machines and how to administer/manage them
  • Good verbal and written skills
  • Ability to describe a technical issue in layman's terms
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite Excel, Power Point, Word
  • Ability to learn new software quickly
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Must have a valid state driver license
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule to ensure adequate coverage for department.
  • Follow all safety policies, precautions, and procedures

  • Follow daily work activities defined by manager
  • Timely participation in meetings
  • Ability to Multi-task. Be able to handle multiple projects at the same time, and be able to self-manage time constraints
